An award-winning former television news journalist who spent 15+ years in newsrooms across Florida — Sarasota, Tallahassee, Fort Myers and Tampa Bay, where she still freelances on occasion. She covered the political and crime beats and everyday breaking news, and is now focused on sharing positive stories and events with Tampa Bay families.

Maddy Zollo Rusbosin
Editor in Chief, Orlando Parenting
A journalist coming up on two decades of writing and reporting on everything from beauty and style to travel and parenting. Before Orlando, she lived in New York and served as a beauty editor for People StyleWatch and Seventeen. Her work has appeared in Cosmopolitan, Women’s Health, Robb Report, Southern Living and Flamingo.
- Lives in Winter Park with her husband, two kids and a cocker spaniel called Buckets.
Hailea Boykin
Content Manager & Writer
Oversees the digital presence for Tampa Bay Date Night Guide and contributes heavily across Hooray’s other titles. She takes great pride in connecting with the community, conducting meaningful interviews, and conveying information and personal experience from the Tampa Bay and Orlando areas.
- B.A. in Professional and Creative Writing, Central Washington University.

Zoë Joiner
Director of Operations
Has kept Hooray Media organized behind the scenes since 2022. Originally from Minnesota, she made Tampa home for twelve years and now supports the printing and distribution of our publications from Costa Rica.
- Degree in Psychology from Florida State University.

Joined the staff of Tampa Bay Parenting in 2014 and brings his knowledge of sales relationships to the Tampa Bay community. Originally from Miami, he now lives in Valrico and is a proud father to two girls.
